All ten games are available to every pupil from the first day. Age sets only how many words the games draw on to begin with — the shortest words for a two-year-old — and a grown-up can change that at any time in Settings.
A grown-up picks the plan. Paying asks for a grown-up’s email, for the receipt — and for nothing else.
Paid online? You can also paste the payment number from your receipt email here.
Bought your copy in person? Type the code you were given. It needs internet once, and then works offline.
Your payment is checked on our own server, and what you buy is signed so it cannot be copied. Nothing about your child leaves this device.
By subscribing you agree to our terms and conditions. See also our privacy notice.

A little of everything.
All ten games are open. They are numbered in the order we suggest learning them — but any game can be played at any time, in any order.
Collect all eight.
Five apps, each bought on its own.
Wake Easy.Sums.Ap — sums under ten Wake Quick.Sums.Ap — sums past ten Wake Color.Num.Ap — colours and fractions Wake Quick.Prod.Ap — times tablesMixed practice
Every round the pupil has played.
Shorter bars mean quicker recognition. Accuracy first, speed after.
How each of the ten games is going. A game needs six answers before it is scored.
Every letter and every numeral. Green means the pupil knows it, pink means it still needs practice, plain means it has not come up yet.
What this pupil gets wrong most often, hardest first.
Questions about a pupil's progress, billing or a problem with the app. A grown-up should send this.
Every pupil on this device.
Sorted so whoever needs attention first is at the top.
Missed by the most pupils — worth teaching to the whole group.
If a pupil practised on their own phone, ask a grown-up to send you their backup file from Settings, then bring it in here.
All results live on this device only. Nothing is uploaded.
Clear results wipes this pupil's scores, charts, stars and tricky list, and keeps the pupil, their name and your subscription. Erase this pupil removes the child completely — and if the subscription was bought on this child, it goes with them.
Moving to a new phone, or bringing a pupil back after clearing your browser? Choose the backup file you saved earlier.
Backups are the only copy of a pupil's history. Save one at the end of each term and keep it somewhere safe, like your email.
You can buy or change a plan at any time — there is no need to wait for a free trial to run out. Whatever you choose starts on the day you pay.
Added to the home screen it opens like any other app — its own icon, no address to type, and it still works with no internet.
On an iPhone or iPad
Do this before a child starts, if you can. On an iPhone the home-screen copy keeps its own results, separate from Safari’s, so work already saved here will not appear in it. If there is work already: press Save a backup above, add the icon, open it, and choose that file under Restore from a backup. After that, use only the icon.
On an Android phone
Android shares the same results between Chrome and the icon, so nothing needs carrying across.
How to start, what the ten games teach, how to read a report, and how to keep your results safe.
📖 Open the manualA grown-up’s email address, please. The receipt goes there, with a link that puts the plan back on a new phone. It is used for nothing else.
Reports and settings are for a parent, guardian or teacher. Please answer to carry on.
Copy the words below, then paste them into your email. Doing it this way keeps Wake Eng.Read.Write.Ap open on screen.
Some computers open email over the top of the app. Copy the words first and nothing can be lost.
