Colours first,
then fractions.

Knowing colours, and what a part of a group means

Who is playing today?

A grown-up can read the manual at any time.

The colour games suit a pupil from two. The fraction games appear from about five, because a child who is still learning red from blue is not ready to be asked what three out of six means — a grown-up can show every game at any time in Settings.

What the class finds hard

Missed by the most pupils — worth teaching to the whole group.

Add a pupil from another device

If a pupil practised on their own phone, ask a grown-up to send you their backup file from Settings, then bring it in here.

Settings

Four is where every child should start. The first four are far enough apart that nobody mixes them up by accident; the other four are added once those are secure.
Phones come with different voices, and some are much clearer than others. If the voice is hard to make out, pick another from this list and press the button to hear it. On an iPhone, more voices can be added under Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
With this on, the second four colours appear by themselves once the pupil is secure on the first four. Turn it off to keep the set exactly where you put it above.
The fraction games are hidden from the very young by default — a two-year-old given "how many out of how many" learns only that this app is where they fail. Turn this on if you know your child is ready.

Backups are the only copy of a pupil's history. Save one at the end of each term and keep it somewhere safe, like your email.
