One paper in, three new ones out.

Give it a paper you set. It lists the topics and levels, writes three new versions, and writes worked solutions and mark schemes for all four.

Your papers

Everything the app has made for you, kept on this phone.

See what you get first

A short sample: a mathematics test, its three new versions, and the worked solutions and mark schemes. It costs nothing and uses none of your papers.

Looking after your papers

The papers the app makes are kept on this phone only. Save them to a file now and then, and email it to yourself β€” then a lost phone costs you nothing.

Your paper

A PDF of the paper, or a clear photo of each page. Up to about 20 pages works best; for a longer paper, choose the pages you want.

Say the subject, the level and the board if you know it. It helps the new versions match.

    What happens next

    1. Your paper is sent to the AI service through our own server.
    2. It lists the topics and levels, then writes three new versions, then the solutions and mark schemes. This takes about 10 to 20 minutes.
    3. Your paper is deleted from the AI service as soon as it is finished.

Keep this screen open and the phone plugged in until it says it has finished. If it is interrupted, it carries on from where it stopped β€” for up to two days.

Only your paper is sent β€” never a pupil’s name or mark. It counts as one of your papers only once the AI has started work on it, so a paper that never gets that far costs you nothing.

    Making your papers

Keep this screen open. The phone is asked to stay awake while it works.

      Save as PDF

Each version on its own file, with its mark scheme on a new page β€” or the pupils’ copy, with the questions only. On an iPhone, a very long paper may be too big for “Everything as one PDF”; save the pieces one at a time instead.

The diagrams cannot be changed by typing, so changing the words never spoils them.

      Send to pupils

A short link to one version. Pupils open it on their phones, type their answers under each question and send them back to you as a message. They can also print it and answer on paper. The link carries the questions only — never the answers.

      Pupils’ answers

When a pupil sends you their answers, paste the whole message here and press Bring them in.

The app never marks the answers: you do, with the mark scheme beside them.

      Opening your paper…

      Your subscription

A year for one teacher, with 12 papers made into new versions. Need more before the year is out? Add 5 more papers at any time.

      Where should your receipt go?

Used for your receipt and for reaching you about your subscription β€” nothing else.

      Given a code instead?

Paid online? You can also paste the payment number from your receipt email here.

If your school paid for you, or you paid Wake directly, type the code you were given. It needs internet once.

Your payment is checked on our own server, and what you buy is signed so that it cannot be copied from one phone to another. The count of papers is kept on our server too, so it is the same on every one of your devices.

By subscribing you agree to our terms and conditions. See also our privacy notice.

Kept on this phone only. They are never sent to the AI service.

      Keep your papers safe

Every paper the app made is on this phone and nowhere else. Save them all to one file and email it to yourself.

      Open saved papers

New phone? Choose the file you saved. Papers already here are kept.

      Put this on your phone

Added to the home screen it opens like any other app, with its own icon.

      On an iPhone or iPad

      1. Open this page in Safari.
      2. Tap Share β€” the square with an arrow pointing up.
      3. Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

On an iPhone the home-screen copy keeps its own papers, separate from Safari’s. Add the icon before you start, or save your papers to a file and open the file in the new copy.

      On an Android phone

      1. Open this page in Chrome.
      2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
      3. Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen, then confirm.

      Erase everything

Wipes every paper from this phone, for good. Save them to a file first.
